Advice for packing your consignment is a tricky area. Only you will know if the packaging is sufficient for the goods you are sending. Basically if you have packaged the item in its box for sending and it rattles around when you shake the box it is not good enough. The box must be able to withstand a small fall. The reason for this is that the carrier may drop the box at any stage. However please rest assured that the greatest of care is taken with all of your packages.

Tracking the goods you ship through postagesupermarket could not be easier. Simply log into your account and go to the account overview section. There you will see a list of all the shipments you have sent. Each one will have a track now button next to it. Simply click this button and you will be provided with a printable page that will hold all of the latest tracking information.

As with all carriers of goods being shipped we need to advise you on goods that can and cannot be sent. We have done this through our prohibited items page. All couriers will bill you either on the actual weight of your parcel, or what is called the volumetric weight of the goods being sent. Basically they measure your parcel and do some basic calculations to obtain the volumetric weight of the shipment. If this is greater than the actual weight then this is what you will be billed.
