Advice for packing your consignment is a tricky area. Only you will know if the packaging is sufficient for the goods you are sending. Basically if you have packaged the item in its box for sending and it rattles around when you shake the box it is not good enough. The box must be able to withstand a small fall. The reason for this is that the carrier may drop the box at any stage. However please rest assured that the greatest of care is taken with all of your packages.

Once paperwork is sent via email this should be attached securely to the box and the tracking number is printed clearly on the docket. This can be used to track consignments on-line with all the major companies.

Some couriers offer a box price (usually between 20-30 kilos), other services use volumetric weight to calculate the cost of shipping.  This involves the dimensions of the box or the overall weight whichever is the greatest.
