DHL - a division of "Deutsche Post" was founded in 1969 and has its headquarters in Bonn, Germany. Parcelforce was founded in 1990 from a delivery subsection of the then government owned Royal Mail. Advice for packing your consignment is a tricky area. Only you will know if the packaging is sufficient for the goods you are sending. Basically if you have packaged the item in its box for sending and it rattles around when you shake the box it is not good enough. The box must be able to withstand a small fall.
