Because we buy postal services in bulk we can offer you these services at highly discounted rates. When you book your collection using Postagesupermarket you are buying the parcel delivery service from either DHL, TNT or Parcelforce - we provide the expertise behind the scences to make sure your collection and delivery is as smooth as possible. With real people behind working for you - not just a nameless website - you can call or email us if you have any problems.

We also offer insurance on your parcel, arranged through a separate insurance broker, so you can cover the contents of your package for loss or damage.

DHL - a division of "Deutsche Post" was founded in 1969 and has its headquarters in Bonn, Germany. During this time they have built up an impressive reputation for International, European and Domestic parcel shipping services. We offer you their most popular and reliable services. To compare, the DHL Euro service is a road parcel delivery. Your parcel will be collected by DHL Express and shipped to its destination using the DHL Road network. This service is obviously slower than the DHL Express, but it is significantly cheaper for delivery to many countries. If you are shipping from the UK, then this service serves the majority of European countries. The DHL Express Air service is faster and covers Europe as well as the International market. We have found, over our many years of dealing with DHL that the express service can even exceed the quoted delivery times - we have deliveries leaving the UK on a Wednesday and arriving in New York on a Friday - Amazing for a cheap door-to-door express courier!

TNT is another highly professional courier service. They were founded in 1946 in Australia by one man, Ken Thomas, using a single delivery truck! TNT drivers are very helpful and the company prides itself on the smart public appearance. Like the other two service providers, DHL and Parcelforce, TNT offer International, European and UK deliveries. We find that some packages, especially where you may have a long and heavy parcel can be cheapest to send using TNT. For example, a long and heavy parcel (1.75m and 15Kg) can be sent to Cyprus for under £54! This surely must be the cheapest postal service available worldwide! All TNT services are trackable and you can easily book and pay for your parcel online. We will then send you any documentation you need to print and attach to your package. Simply wait for the instantly recognisable TNT vehicle to arrive and collect your package!

Parcelforce was founded in 1990 from a delivery subsection of the then government owned Royal Mail. To this day it is still owned by the Royal Mail and operates from it's headquarters in Milton Keynes. Interestingly, the parent company of Parcelforce (Royal Mail Group LTD) also own part of GLS (General Logistics Systems). GLS are one delivery network that operate throughout Europe and Internationally. In our experience, parcels sent using Parcelforce can have less customs problems and hold-ups, primarily because the same parent company controls the delivery company from when your package is collected, right through to its European or International destination. Parcelforce vehicles are instantly recognisable with their smart red livery and white lettering - featuring the top of a globe. This livery can be seen on Parcelforce Vans, Lorries and even Aeroplanes. It is a worldwide sign that your parcels are in good hands!

We have contracts with some of the UK’s best known delivery services who in turn have a global network of  partners to ensure the smooth transportation of your goods into or out of the UK to any other country or territory.  Get the same great service but a a fraction of the cost.

All of our services are booked online. This makes the whole process easier and quicker for you. We also have more control over our accounts and can get all the information you need to you in a very small time frame. It is a very simple process and we will guide you through step by step if you are a first time user.

If you need to send another box remember you will get a consignment rate.

When payment has been made for your collection, you will automatically receive an email which will confirm we have received your order.  We will then process your order, and you will receive a further email with your dockets attached.  The dockets contain your tracking number and you can log onto your account and track your parcel.

The delivery agents we use are unable to deliver to P.O Box addresses.  If your delivery address contains a P.O Box number, please contact us before booking.  Some items are also not permitted to travel with our carriers, please see our prohibited items page.  We can offer extra insurance for some services, please see the extra information sections when booking.

Some services are charged at a box rate up to a certain amount. For instance a box price from UK to Europe is up 30kg. Other services use a volumetric formula using the length, height and weight of the box.
