DHL - a division of "Deutsche Post" was founded in 1969 and has its headquarters in Bonn, Germany. TNT is another highly professional courier service. They were founded in 1946 in Australia by one man, Ken Thomas, using a single delivery truck! We find that some packages, especially where you may have a long and heavy parcel can be cheapest to send using TNT. For example, a long and heavy parcel (1.75m and 15Kg) can be sent to Cyprus for under £54! This surely must be the cheapest postal service available worldwide! All TNT services are trackable and you can easily book and pay for your parcel online. We will then send you any documentation you need to print and attach to your package. Parcelforce was founded in 1990 from a delivery subsection of the then government owned Royal Mail. To this day it is still owned by the Royal Mail and operates from it's headquarters in Milton Keynes. Interestingly, the parent company of Parcelforce (Royal Mail Group LTD) also own part of GLS (General Logistics Systems). GLS are one delivery network that operate throughout Europe and Internationally. When it comes to packaging your items, you really need to take great care. Your goods must be secure in the packaging you wrap around it. There is no point in sending anything if it is rattling around in the box. Also the packaging must be able to protect the contents from a small fall from waist height. This is just in case the box falls from a conveyor belt or the driver drops it. Although great care is taken with your goods, these things can and do happen.
