DHL - a division of "Deutsche Post" was founded in 1969 and has its headquarters in Bonn, Germany. All TNT services are trackable and you can easily book and pay for your parcel online. We will then send you any documentation you need to print and attach to your package. Parcelforce was founded in 1990 from a delivery subsection of the then government owned Royal Mail. To this day it is still owned by the Royal Mail and operates from it's headquarters in Milton Keynes. Interestingly, the parent company of Parcelforce (Royal Mail Group LTD) also own part of GLS (General Logistics Systems). GLS are one delivery network that operate throughout Europe and Internationally. When sending consignments through global delivery agent networks, you need to pack each box in a professional manner.  We can offer you advice on this subject, however you should basically pack your items so that they can withstand a small fall from around waist height, just in case your box should be dropped for any reason.  Also be aware that at some point your box will be stacked, so it is very likely that other consignments will be stacked on top of it.

Once your order has been collected you’ll receive confirmation e-mail. Your tracking number will come when you print your paperwork.

When using postagesupermarket, we strongly recommend you look at our prohibited items page. The reason being is that our carriers will only send certain goods. All goods listed as prohibited items can still be sent with us, but there will be no claim if they arrive damaged.

Some services are charged at a box rate up to a certain amount. For instance a box price from UK to Europe is up 30kg. Other services use a volumetric formula using the length, height and weight of the box.
