You can find comprehensive advice about the packaging of your parcels on the packing advice page. However the main rule to follow when packing is as follows. Your parcel will need to be able to withstand a drop from waist height. This is because the courier could drop it.

When payment has been made for your collection, you will automatically receive an email which will confirm we have received your order.  We will then process your order, and you will receive a further email with your dockets attached.  The dockets contain your tracking number and you can log onto your account and track your parcel.

When using postagesupermarket, we strongly recommend you look at our prohibited items page. The reason being is that our carriers will only send certain goods. All goods listed as prohibited items can still be sent with us, but there will be no claim if they arrive damaged.

All couriers that carry parcels work on a volumetric pricing system. Basically this means that they measure and weigh all of the boxes that they carry through their networks. They will use the size of the parcel to obtain a volumetric weight. They will compare this to the actual weight and bill us whichever is greater.
